MONEYPIT February 2006 + Reviews

2006-08-12 by Ken Leonard

Greetings Mellotronists,

May I direct your thingy to http://www.kleonard.com for...

MONEYPIT February 2006 ... which includes ...

* The unveiling of spiffitized M400 #541 owned by Lee Richards
* The recording of "Leaving for the Black Sand" using #541 and
Jerry's Mark I (many of you have checked this out already)---and this
tune has made its CD debut on Lee Richard's new release "Another Day
in Paradise"!
* A word about a potential fire hazard in your M400
* A look at #541 in his new home
* The usual tidbits
* A video of MONEYPIT February 2006 --- with a MONEYPIT RETROSPECTIVE

ALSO...

* Info about Lee Richard's new CD "Another Day in Paradise",
including a review: "Violins, guitars, and bass provide the backbone
for these gentle, flowing tracks while Mellotron, synthesizer, cello,
viola, and other instruments add to the variety."

* A review of Shannon Taylor's "if it is to be as it is": "A
collection of real, honest, and personal electro/acoustic songs with
a slight pop edge and a good dose of Mellotron."

Links to all this are available on http://www.kleonard.com, scroll
down just past the subliminal, non-obtrusive, almost invisible self
promotion at the top.

** Be watching out for MONEYPIT June 2006 coming soon! **

M400 #805 - got the mood shot in the retrospective
M400 #1037 - seen dirty, naked, and shunned in the retrospective

Good stuff, Ken. As always, your website is a fun and informative
read with some nice audio clips to listen to while browsing.

Too bad it's still not available in China.

Bernie
