Oh - well - great point. I've never made something with sliders. So then the faders take up as much space horizonatally - or nearly so - but they're more "graphic" per some earlier comments. One of the advantages of faders on mixers is how you can manipulate them - pushing or pulling groups of them togeher. Would this be applicable to the Klee? I'm really just considering the merits of either approach.
