Re: [ModularSynthPanels] jerkface

heya richard!
the intro to that jerkass mp3 has it in 'freeze mode'. the last centimeter
on my rate pot goes into that constant voltage - but i have not done any
measurements yet - it could be just going very slow. i used a recycled
pot from an old mixer and i used mylar capacitors. so maybe a trimpot or
just swap out a better parts might fix it all. but yeah first i will
try swapping the lm13700s with others - i'll let you know!

the rate pot really is sensitive. i was debating putting a 10 turn pot?
just use the mod cv in for coarse changing? there is enough room on
the bridechamber for another pot - the double well chaos could use
some fine tune pots as well - tune in tokyo!

I finished my Jersker recently but haven't had time to add it to my
website. Yours sounds healthy enough. I did not see a freeze with
mine, going very slowly, but can't say yet that it won't. What happens
to the output when it freezes? Does it just stop? Does it migrate
toward a high or low voltage? Have you tried different LM13700 chips?
It's quite an interesting sine wave generator. I wish it had a fine
tune pot on the rate, which is very wide range and sensitive. I'll be
experimenting with it and making some recordings that I will add when I
put it up on my website.
