Many times people mistake "Open Source" to mean "runs on Linux *AND* MacOS." Nothing could be further from the truth. I often go to people who make this mistake and tell them politely what they got wrong about the phrase "Open Source". They usually then tell me that it's not like "Open Source" is a clearly defined term in the first place.
