You are correct. However I had further concerns that didn't elucidate. Getting the DIY crowd to agree on a part choice is difficult. The disparity between these pots is worse than the Bourns vs Alpha argument that is still going on. I have some EMS Spares that I am using by Helipot and Beckman (I think). What is the next guy going to use? How do we accomodate everybody ? If all three holes are not perfect the verniers will not line up right. A small difference on the anti rotation hole equals a big difference with knob allignment. I can't imagine the additional three holes adding much to the cost. > > -TF > > --- In ModularSynthPanels@yahoogroups.com, "adaaxs" <ginowong@> wrote: > > > > It would probably be easier just to mark where you would drill a hole for anti rotation ala EMS. Drill it if you need it and save the expense, as it is this panel is going to be very pricey. > > > > --- In ModularSynthPanels@yahoogroups.com, "Todd" <babysealclub@> wrote: > > > > > > Is there a consensus on the big multi turn knobs vs a coarse / fine arrangement? I recently built a LVCO in Euro for bbow73 (picture at Muff's). We used the big multi turn gym locker knobs. They're cool, but they're not cheap. > > > > > > Scott - If you go with a big knob setup PLEASE ADD THE SMALL ANTI-ROTATION HOLE. > > > > > > -TF > > > > > > P.S. Be sure to add the small antirotation hole. It needs to be perfect. I'm handy with my drill press, but it really needs to be perfect. I think I spent half a day getting those things lined up. > > > > > > --- In ModularSynthPanels@yahoogroups.com, Eric Frampton <eric@> wrote: > > > > > > > > Was a consensus ever reached about what this panel should look like? > > > > > > > > Is there an ETA? > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > Eric > > > > > > > > > >
