The Wave Multiplier is one of my all time faves. The grinder is good for grungy kinds of sounds, though I agree it's not the miracle circuit of the multiplier. I think there may still be an old sound sample of mine that I put on the CGS group that uses the grinder with the wave multiplier to tear a triangle wave a new one.
