Bass Pedals / front panel project
2004-10-18 by djbrow54
I just finished my first pass code and circuit design for a set of MIDI bass pedals. I got a set of used Hammond pedals (13 keys) and did a small pcb. Got it all running today so it's time to start on the wooden case. I did a FrontPanelExpress panel and selected the gold with black lettering. Hopefully it will match the wooden case. Modes include: poly, mono, sticky, arpeggiator, sticky arpeggiator, midi channel select, midi program change, and panic. Sticky mode holds the current note / sequence until the next note is played. It also has a tempo control (for the arpeggiator), two general purpose 5 volt logic outputs and two 0-5 volt analog inputs as well as a two octave note transpose. The arpeggiator plays 1 of 5 preset sequences or up to a 100 note user definable sequence. It also has MIDI in for future expansion.
