Well the same schematic for this extremely simple circuit has been on  
the Doepfer's own DIY page for around a decade

So really you can't draw much out of it besides:

There aren't all that many ways to lay it out a space saving panel size.

Dieter had been suggesting you make one your self though perhaps  
requests or perhaps seeing something similar out there.

Peter is adding some genuine extras in terms of functionality so I  
guess so as long as he is able to deliver from stock there is nothing  
to complain about.
