I think your policy is sound, you shoot from the hip and I suspect that folks who are completely new to modular equipment could be intimidated by the way you worded it (I know I might have been about two years ago). That said despite it's abruptness it's sound advice, analog equipment doesn't work like it's digital equivalents and while there are some guarantees that come with new instruments that their vintage ancestors may lack the fact is these guarantees are limited. I think there could definetly be room on your site to expound a bit on the philosophy behind plan B in both design and synthesis but I don't think the buyer beware section is the right place to do that.
I am glad you put this so front and center but perhaps you might want to soften the tone without geting rid of the message.
also just for the record, who's Adam Henry? He must have been a total idiot to end up with a policy like this named after him. :P

I thought it read well. I copped onto the tongue and cheekiness though. Funny though, the whole thing could be summed up by saying— Don't be an idiot! J but that would be offensive….

I think you know the thrust behind it. It's something that had to
happen. I do no know of any manufacturer who clearly states what is to
be expected of the equipment they are about to purchase. I need to
make that clear. Help me rewrite it, please give me suggestions. All
will be considered.
