The Woggle is originally a Grant Richter (of Wiard) design originally, I think the Heisenberg and the Doepfer 149-1 are closer to the SOU. The 149-1 has 4 CV outs to pick from, but needs an external clock. The Heisenberg has it's own quantized random output from an internal clock, a stepped output similar to the 149, and a smoothed output that I think the Woggle has a similar output (the Doepfer does not). The Heisenberg also has a digital noise out (the source output) that sounds kinda like the Zorlon Cannon's audio output. I don't have a woggle, but I would think the M24 is somewhere between the Woggle and the 149-1. -Don On Wed, Feb 18, 2009 at 6:16 PM, Christopher Jacob Recording Device <I.AM.USING.THE.INTERNETS@gmail.com> wrote: > I'm planning a 12U Modular system and talking to various people about > sources of random voltage.
