GUys, More work completed on the Model 18, want to give you all an update: Things are shaping up nicely and new features are being added all the time, for instance: under midi control, the Model 18 will have preset direction patterns availiable thorugh sys commands. There are sine, triangle and rendom tables which can be called up as sysex command for operation so much like the MAQ 16/3, there will be VC pattern presets. This feature wil not be availible on the faceplate - for that I'm sticking to the VC input. Also....start saving - the Model 18 will be formatted to accept up to seven 18A Expander modules - so you can build a 4 bank, 64 step unit if you care to (!), all controllable from a single VC input on the main unit! All basic features are presently operational on the microp - walking 1's (sequential counting), reset, hold, skip step. We've not yet coded the VC input, but this will be a snap. More as it happens... - Peter
