Just thought this was worth mentioning. I'm not really blaming anyone. I figured this info might help someone when they ship. I recently bought and had a second hand Doepfer G6 case containing modules shipped to me. The packing seemed quite responsible and while I didn't request the modules to be shipped mounted I didn't request they not be mounted and I've been shipped more or less similar racks from Enport (former U.S. Doepfer distributer) and Analogue Systems with mounted modules. Anyway the point of this post is a Model 15 VCO in the case did not survive unscathed. Nothing else was damaged. First off the expo board was bouncing around loose in the case. On my module at least it's deninitely not firmly attached enough to travel. I'd probably tape it if I were to transport it to a gig or something. More critically the 1v/o Freq pot and the top Freq VC pot had their connector boards cracked off from the body of the pot. In other words the connectors were still soldered to the main board but cracked off from the body of the pot. nick http://technopop.info/ndkent/
