Looks as if it does, doesn't it?  If it did however, I'd be making a lot more $$ for the 
Military!

The resting state of the Voltage Mirror (no input) is 8 volts positive.  It sits up there with 
no input is applied to it's output.  So inserting the waveshape shown in the diagram, that's 
exactly what you'll get out.  It may appear to be time reserved, but it's just phase refersed.

A true mirror.

I guess I could have called it the 'Positively Biased Voltage Inverter, but what's the fun in 
that?
