Forgot to mention (this is really col, actually) The SEND inputs on each of the five keys force the selection to that key. So if you connect a pulse sequencer, you get a five step voltage sequencer.

I hope your friend is ok. I would totally buy that controller from you if it comes in some kind of housing. You said it's an irregular height and I don't have any spare hp in my rig right now.
Let me know if it's still available, and again I hope your friend gets beter whatever's the matter.
