For those who have not yet ordered one, are there currently unallocated complete part sets? (Or is the entire first run already sold out and simply awaiting assembly and shipment?)

The initial run (about 50 units) are being manufactured and shipped. Critical materials (faceplates, PCBAs, etc) have been ordered for a second lot after this. They are currently available for presale at Big City Music, with fulfillment to them in about two weeks time. hope this helps - - P klstay wrote:

Hello, Peter and the rest! I didn't hear from you about the second payment and the shipping of the VCO I ordered? I've already paid the first part. Can you contact me (and the other Dutch buyers) please? Best regards, Jeroen Knoops AKA JohnnyBusca http://www.synthforum.nl

Hey guys. Not ignoring here...just suffocating from solder fumes. As a general rule, I contact everyone a week before their unit is shipping to make arrangements for pay the balance. I do this for two reasons: 1) It assures they are going to be around when the package is delivered so it doesn't end up coming back or sitting on their front porch (Fedex has done this TWICE to me/them even though on all counts I requested a signature for delivery). 2) It keeps me honest. I asked for 1/2 down only because I needed to pay for the materials. But I prefer not being paid for my services until they each unit is completed. It's better that way. If I had the financial means I wouldn't have asked for a down payment of 50%, but it was a nessesity I'm still shipping and building these. I've had to work on some other projects for other people, but each day has the VCO in it. In about a week these other projects is completed and then I'm 200% Plan B. thanks all for understanding this, guys. I really appreciate it. - P
