Bernard,
The reason I considered it is because I jump through hoops to sharpen with PKS in PS (though I really like the plugin--but it will only work in RGB). Qimage does a really good interpolation of my original digital files--and also a very good job with its 'smart sharpening'--which means I don't have to fiddle around about sharpening (which I always do as the last step after resizing). I imagine I will go back and forth between the 2 depending upon my mood and the image (PKS allows me to be very selective about my sharpening and some times that's really needed).

This is curious!

I also use Qimage, it’s a great product – but now I only use it for colour prints and use QTR for b&w. Why bother going via Qimage for b&w, especially if the image has already been processed in Photoshop? The only reason I can think of is to allow multiple photos to be laid out first.

What am I missing?

Cheers,

Bernie
