QTR-Quadtone RIP

Has anyone else had problems using Print Tool when the file has extra channels created.  I use Tony Kuypers Luminosity Mask to create channels to process my files.  I have noticed when i try to print a file with these extra channels I get strange results.  Only part of the picture displays in print tool, and depending what channels I have, it shows bizarre colors.  I tried printing one (using QTR,) and it printed only the part of the print displayed and with very high contrast.  Since I was printing using QTR, I don't know if it would have printed the bizarre colors, but the contrast appears similar to  what is displayed, so assume it would if you were printing through a color app.  Deleting the extra channels seems to cure the problem.

Is this a bug or expected behavior?  Is it not possible to print through Print Tool using channels?
