Hi Bruce, It's hard to tell for sure what's happening. But my guess is a couple possibilities. 1) maybe you have compression turned on in the test file. Save it again making sure that compression is off. 2) maybe you have a alpha channel that masks off the image Check both of these. Do you get any error messages? Make adjustment, & reprint as necessary different slivers in different positions on this same blank file. This allows me to use no more then one full size sheet of paper before I print my first full/complete image. This is often enough to ensure that I only have to print a full final image once. > > I explain all this for the reason that all of a sudden QTR will not print these test strips. Full images print fine. Either previous images or the image that I am trying to print a strip from. But somehow in the process I am using to copy the sliver/strip of one image into the blank file, it no longer works. Or to be precise, the printer functions as if it is printing, but nothing appears on the paper. Again, this is only occurring when I attempt to print out the sliver/strip of another image onto the blank test file. I have: > > - Recreated the file several time using the same method I have always used with the same result of not printing in the above circumstance. > > I will say that yesterday it worked ok & today no. The single difference is that this morning I mistakenly copied a sliver/strip from a PSD file (Forgot to save as a TIF) and the attempted print from the test file did not work. This started the whole problem. I corrected that issue to include starting over with a new blank test file but to no avail.
