I have now managed to linearise UT14 on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Bright White but am getting micro banding across the print (following the direction of printhead travel) and bands in direction of paper travel. The larger bands are a bit like developer streaks but perfectly straight. They have the appearance of corrugated cardboard for want of a better term. Essentially they are stripes of slightly lighter/darker tone along the picture. Also on one print I am getting these larger stripes across the print, i.e. in the direction of print head travel, not paper travel, but these are less obvious. The micro banding is only noticable at very close distance by eye, but the larger streaks are a bit more noticeable at further distance. Any ideas? Would using curves through the Epson driver overcome the micro-banding? (I am yet to get into using the icc and acv approach and much more ignorant about this than using QTR, about which I am only semi ignorant) regards Ross
