Hi, I've been trying to create custom ICC profiles for the QTR, my Epson R1800, and Epson Velvet Fine Paper so I can get prints that are closer to my two 23" Apple Cinema displays. My color workflow and calibrations are all ready in place and I use the Spyder 4 Studio kit for camera, display, and printer calibration. I'm running into a problem when I get to the measurement window in SpyderPrint4 (the software from Spyder for printer calibration)when I take my readings for the QTR custom profile. The instructions say to: 1. Select export to file, which I name and save. 2. Select Lab color radio button 3. Select QTR Override 4. Select ICC profile radio button 5. Then read your test strip (gray scale patches) My problem is after I select the ICC profile radio button the LAB color radio button becomes un-checked. Apparently you can't choose both at the same time. I left the ICC profile radio button checked, took my measurements, and it created the .txt file with the LAB readings. When I open that document at the very bottom it says that it's in the wrong format. And when I drop it on the QTR ICC Profile creator it creates an "out" file but nothing else. Has anyone else run into this problem or does anyone notice if I'm doing something wrong in my steps. Any help or feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone had luck making profiles with the Spyder Print Studio 4 system?
