this worked perfectly Roy. The somewhat finnicky TCP/IP ports still worked right off the bat on the PC, and the printers connected to the switcher immediately came up on the list in the Mac as bonjour printers, available to add. I've not yet printed through QTR to one, but will try that soon. Can I bonjour "add" the same printer twice, giving a different name, one with Epson software selected and one with QTR named as the tutorial instructs? The 7800 connected directly to the PC via USB still is not showing up via bonjour, but I'm not concerned about that printer yet.
