I'm new to this QT RIP stuff, but I get the "I/O 32" error a lot with the current version, found it goes back to 2009 here too so still not addressed in 4 years. The Windows 8 timer (wait) timer circle runs a long time too and won't stop until exiting. I "thought" it might have something to do with Windows 8-64 so I set the program "Compatibility" to run as "Vista" instead of "Windows 8" thinking it might cure the I/O 32 error. What I did find was that the *.qidi and *.quad files seemed to move around and not be found between the two "Run as" compatibility changes? Odd the main GUI interface seems to lose them. When I put it back into Windows 8 they were found again. Mack --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Iversonimages" <bill@...> wrote: > > Thanks, Paul.
