QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi, I'm working with a MBP (Mavericks 9.1.) and an EPSON Printer R3000 (driver's updated).
All works fine and all of the options in the print menu for the QuadR3000 are available.
When I want to create a custom QTR curve, I opened it as described in TextEdit, saved it in the same folder as the other .txt-files and clicked the Install[R3000] command file and the script does the job in Terminal and created the .quad-file. 
But when I want to print a grayscale with 'QuadR3000' in print menu, the 'QuadR3000' is still selectable but the options for printing with the QuadR3000 are not there! 
I looked up in the '.quad'-folder and noticed that the newly created '.quad'-file is not executable (white file).
And when I wanted to delete the QuadR300-printer in SystemPrefs, I couldn't enter this panel because of an error in 'Printer & Fax'. So I had to reinstall my mac ... tried again and the same as mentioned above.
