Re: [QuadtoneRIP] can't do Lab L in Photoshop Elements... is there a workaround?

You can use density numbers in the linearization instead of L values.

I'm trying to create a curve for my 1400 and got to an impasse yesterday. I've created a set of 21 density values using a Kodak Q-13 grey scale as a reference, the density figures range from 0 to 1.65. However to load them into the linearization table they need to be in Lab L. The mode tab in Photoshop Elements does not have that option however... does anyone know of a workaround or plugin or something that would make it possible to read my greyscale in Lab L so the eyedropper will read Lab L? And the StedWedge Tool needs to run in CS3 or CS4, which I don't have.

Thank you!
