Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Question on how to fill the LINEARIZATION tab

PS - Sometimes if you don't get the answer you are seeking, it means that you are not asking the right question.

Hi Eric,

I don't know the answer to your question, though someone here probably does. You don't provide enough information to begin with. For instance, What platform are you on? The Mac and PC versions of QTR are a bit different. What version of QTR are you using? What are you trying to profile? I have some experience making profiles for digital negatives for alt-process printing, but none for profiling papers (those included with the download have worked well for me), and none for soft-proofing. If you are on a Mac, have you read Amadou Diallo's article? It is very thorough and well written.

Good luck,
Keith

Hello everyone, I am finally adjusting my curve for the first time and have a question on what to fill in the linearization tab. According to the QTR Guide there are 21 steps to be filled, but my version has 60. Not really sure what 60 vales to put here...

My second question is in which tab should I fill the corrected photoshop curve. Is this in the tab that reads "GRAY CURVE"

"TONER CURVE" or

"TONER CURVE 2" ?

Thanks

Eric
