Once you select Layout > QuadToneRip I don't believe it makes any difference which media (matte or glossy) you select in Printer Features. Print Tool is going to use the black ink selected in the QuadToneRip dialog box, and put down ink according to the Curve 1 you have selected, and according to paper feed type, resolution, and speed.
