I would like to continue membership in the yahoo QuadtoneRIP Group but my preference is to visit group website instead of receiving all the e-mail chatter. Is there a way avoid the e-mails but still ask questions and access the group site?

Through the QuadtoneRIP yahoo group web interface you can change your email preferences to no email. After that you can monitor posts from the web and post via the web or by email as normal.
