Ralph---if you happen to be using a more recent Epson printer such as a 4900, 7890, 7900, 9890, or 9900---it is a known issue with difficulty applying the GO on some prints, particularly in the darker tones. These printers have a sensor that makes it difficult to print over areas that have been printed on before, and stops the printer from applying the GO. Typically, the printer will coat the GO about one half or two thirds the way and then stop. I have found it best to feed the darkest part of the print in first to apply the GO---this is so far the best solution, and sometimes requires several attempts. Paper curl seems to exacerbate the problem. I have not found any other workaround. ken
