Perhaps "blotchy" was the wrong word. It doesn't look like a lot of ink, I've had blotches due to faulty refilling where I got actual puddles of ink. These usually cleared up after a few prints.
Perhaps "mottled" would be a better word. And perhaps Paul will chime in here.
Do you have a sense that us b/w folks frequent all three related groups? I know I do: B/W Digital Print, Epson Printers, and this one, QTR. There is some overlap at times so I try to hit all three.
Do I show up in your registered users? I thought I had a printout in my files...
