What OS, printer, ink and paper are you having trouble with. What settings are you using, resolution, speed, curves, etc.

I have been trying to use the QT program for 3 days
now as a novice,
but I am lost as to how to get a decent bw print from

is supposed to be an easy program for a novice, I am

using simple Epson printer program, at least I actually
got decent
prints from it.
