QTR-Quadtone RIP

I have been using QTR with great results in BW. Additional to the 1280 
Piezo I have a R1800 for color prints that sprays ink like hell since 
it's not linearised and it's my understanding all non-pro printers have 
this "habit"!

I was wondering if there was a way of linearising or at least limit ink 
load for the color R1800 using QTR (profiling is fine, there's a 
separate soft for this). I believe so : the Default Ink Limit should do 
this, but then you limit all channels the same way. How can I manage to 
limit each channel separately.

I don't mind having to use QTR for color instead of OEM driver, output 
has been very fine for BW and I expect the same for color.

I'm sure others have thought about it too and I'd like some advises or 
directions before starting experimenting.
