Instead of relying on special files and the calibration mode I make special profiles and use the 21 step wedge file to print. For example make a profle where the LC channel is the grey ink and all others are not used. ..set limit to 100...a preview of the curve should be a straight diagonal from 0-100 using just the LC. I then print the printer nozzle check to see progress. ..and repeat as necessary. Of course if you really want to purge you could use an image of a solid black square. I hope I explained this ok...I'm assuming you are familiar with the curve tool, and I'm using Win 10 with QTR GUI.
Greg.
What am I doing wrong? Epson 9900. Trying to purge just one channel, LC position. Using QTR in calibration mode, but what file do I print, the QTR-LC flush.tif or the inkseperation.psd? Tried both, when using the QTR-LC flush, get no ink on paper at all. But doing a nozzle check I see mostly good nozzles for LC. If I use the inkseperation.psd file I get all the channels to print. Trying to get printer to just print with LC channel to clear up a stubborn clog.
Thanks, Mark
