Just a reminder from the link below: This is not the recommended procedure for trying to unclog a printer. Also, you don’t want to print a purge sheet if a single nozzle is out. It could permanently damage that nozzle. best, Walker > On Feb 16, 2016, at 12:53 AM, brian_downunda@...m [QuadtoneRIP] <QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com> wrote: > > Both methods - calibration mode and a custom curve using only that channel - should work. I've used both. Like Michael I use the calibration mode approach. If you're getting something on LC in a nozzle check but nothing by printing a LC (R,G,B) (247,0,255) purge pattern in calibration mode then something can't be right about how you're printing the purge pattern. I suggest you use the files and instructions from here: > > http://www.inkjetmall.com/tech/content.php?166-Flush-individual-channel-using-QTR-Calibration-Mode <http://www.inkjetmall.com/tech/content.php?166-Flush-individual-channel-using-QTR-Calibration-Mode> > > see also > > http://www.inkjetmall.com/tech/content.php?144-Print-Ink-Separation-Image-thru-QTR-Calibration-Mode <http://www.inkjetmall.com/tech/content.php?144-Print-Ink-Separation-Image-thru-QTR-Calibration-Mode> > > >
