Jeff, I am glad to hear you are back up and running now, but I agree, it is a pain.
You will find a couple similar threads here about the Windows 10 issues. Basically, the QTRgui was designed and written by someone else and is just a wrapper for Roy's curve creation and printing programs. While the underlying curve creation and printing code has been updated for new printers the QTRgui hasn't. The gui is now starting to show its age and cause problems as newer Windows operating systems come out with more security features.
It would be nice if there was a way to do the Mac style bulk install from the .qidf text file rather than needing to open each profile in the curve creation module and then remake the curves, crash the program, restart the program and do it all over again for each separate profile.
