Hi Roy, Sorry for the confusion. What ultimately I want to do is make a custom size at 24” x 36”. Instead of experimenting with a sheet of 24”x36” paper, I made a custom size at 8 1/2 x 11” to ensure I was getting a centered image. As it turned out, when I created the custom size of 8 1/2” x 11”, the margins were set at .00 and the image was not centered, which led to my original question to the QTR group. Appreciate the tip using Quad9800 to set the margins. Thanks, Doug On Sep 29, 2016, at 3:44 PM, Roy Harrington roy@...m [QuadtoneRIP] <QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com> wrote: Well, good you are getting what you want. But I don't get the 24x36 paper and custom size of 8.5x11 -- must be a typo somewhere. For the margin stuff you can pick Quad9800 printer and it'll fill in .125 all around. (actually you can't go closer than .555 at bottom). Roy On Thu, Sep 29, 2016 at 7:56 AM, Douglas Taylor dougtaylor13@... I’m printing from an iMac to an Epson 9800 using Print-Tool 1.1 and I’m printing with Application Managed and an icc profile I created with an i1. I always got a centered photograph when choosing US Letter (Sheet) or US Letter. However I wanted to make a Custom Size and print on paper at 24” x 36”, so wanted to not have a centering problem and waste $. So I made a custom size at 8.5 x 11 and was not getting a center photograph? But I noticed in the Manage Custom Size dialogue box that the Non-Printable Area had no values for Left, Top, Right, or Bottom. So I deleted the 8.5x11 custom size and recreated and I guess the default Non-Printable Area values of .25, .25, .25, .56 ( left, top, right, bottom) appeared and now the photograph prints centered. Details would help point to the problem. On Monday, September 26, 2016, Douglas Taylor dougtaylor13@... I know it has a Center on Paper Positioning button, but this doesn’t actually center the photograph once printed. I don’t want to print with the photograph centered, but would like to know it is centered before making a little extra white space at the bottom.
