QTR - Weird Line Appears

All

I'm a few weeks into QTR. Basically printing a bunch of 4x6 test prints with different profile adjustments to get the various tones the way I want. Things are promising thanks to Roy sending me some starter profiles he had worked for the Epson p800.

I have one show stopper flaw that I can't figure out.

On every 4x6 print that I use QTR on i get a thin white line on the left side of the print. Specifics:

1. The line goes from top to bottom on the image but does not seem to be present on the border (although would be hard to detect white on white anyway). It's in the image area only.

2. The line is 1cm from the left edge of the paper.

3. There does not appear to be any abrasion of the paper so I don't think this is a printer problem.

4. The line shows up in both kinds of paper I am testing - Harman Gloss Baryta and Epson Photo Prem Glossy. It isn't a specific paper issue.

5. If I print color images from the standard Epson driver they print fine with no line.

6. If I print the test black and white image I am using in Epson ABW I it prints fine with no line.

7. I actually went into the Lightroom 3:1 magnification feature just to see if possibly there was a thin line that maybe somehow QTR was picking up in the image itself. Nope - no line.

8. This happens with the profiles straight from QTR and also custom ones I am adjusting.

So this appears to a QTR problem...doesn't happen if I print with other drivers so it isn't the printer. Happens on multiple papers so it isn't a specific paper. Happens on both supplied and my customized profiles so it isn't something i did with the adjustments.

HELP!!!!

thanks
