It is possible to create ICC / ICM profiles for soft-proofing. QTR comes with the tools to do that. There are some profiles available online. QTR ships with some generic ones in C:\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP\icc , I think that there are some in the files section of this group, and IJM supply some for their Piezography inks, but the best ones will be ones you make yourself, if you have the equipment to do so.

I'm not sure this is responsive, but for profiles I make (qidf files) for a 9800 and my EbVT inkset, I save them here:
C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP\Profiles\9800-EbVT
The quad files are then generated by QTR and saved here:
C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP\QuadTone\Quad9800
I use Win 7.
QTR profiles are not like the normal color profiles for the Epson driver workflow.
