Hi Richard, Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I reviewed what you wrote and can tell you that I use presets for each of the few papers I use and each is set up for only the Quad 3880 printer. I just tried it again and it continues to behave in the same fashion. I even reinstalled QTR yesterday. Sorry if this is repetitive but I want to be clear. I go to the print dialog in Photoshop CC, choose Quad3880 and go to printer settings. In that dialog I set the paper size, e.g. letter (it seems to default to tabloid), go to layout and choose quadtone rip. There I click split tone and select manual rear for paper feed. I then click “save.” I then click print in the Photoshop dialog and up pops the “print” dialog and all the settings I just saved have reverted to presumed defaults. I’ve dealt with this for a while and can certainly continue but find it frustrating and recently decided to seek some help. Any thoughts are welcome and I much appreciate this forum. If there is a group of settings you use often, you can very easily make a preset for those and choose "only this printer" so only the QUADxxxx printer will show that preset. > > Hope that helps, > Richard Boutwell > > http://www.richardboutwell.com/ <http://www.richardboutwell.com/> > http://www.bwmastery.com/ <http://www.bwmastery.com/> > > >
