My wife has an Epson 3880 at school and has bought one for home as well. She initially installed QTR for mac and set it up at school (I'm guessing she was connected to the printer at school). It looks like the QUAD3880 that is created from running the command script is made for the one at school since it wont work with the printer at home (makes sense since it is a different printer after all). When I try and run the script again it doesnt make a new QUAD printer for the home one. Even if I delete the old QUAD and make a new one, it makes one for the printer at school. I have even tried by making the home printer network only, and the QUAD printer says that it is USB, not network.
Is it possible to do this?

Did you Delete the QTR printer at the operating system level? (On a Mac - - - System-Preference / Printers-&-Scanners)
This probably is more than is necessary, but I would:
1) Delete the QTR printer and the 3880 "regular" printer (operating system level);
2) Uninstall QTR as completely as you can;
3) Reboot the computer (probably not necessary, but it can't hurt);
4) Install the 3880 as a "regular" printer (i.e. Epson driver installation)
5) Install QTR with the 3880 as a QTR printer.
It's been a long time since I QTR'ed a 3880 so I don't recall the details.
