Hi all, I am new to the forum as well as QTR. I am running OSX 10.4.2 (Tiger) and using an Epson R2400 printer. I have downloaded the QTR program and installed it. I now have QTR folder on my desktop with all or the documentation as well as the Printer Profiles folder, Curves folder, etc. In reading over all of the documentation I could find for OSX I found that I needed to download the newest GIMP-Print. I have downloaded and installed GIMP-Print 4.2. The problem is that I DO NOT see a Gimp Driver for my printer (Epson 2400). I go to Printer Setup Utility and click ADD. Then I "Option-Click" the MORE PRINTERS choice and I get the "Advanced" dialog that the instructions discuss. My Printer "Stylus Photo R2400" is listed under DEVICE so I choose it. The URL is filled it for me and then I choose Epson in the Printer Model pull-down menu. NEXT IS THE PROBLEM... In the "Name" dialog box that pops up I DO NOT see a GIMP-Print driver for my Epson. I see Stylus Color models up to 3000, Stylus Photo models up to 2200 & EX, and Stylus Photo R200-R800, BUT NO R2400... Please help, do I need to install the QTR printer drivers first? I have NOT installed ANY QTR item other than the program itself. It says in the QTR instructions that I should alrealdy have my printer chosen in Printer Setup Utility before proceeding but I don't see the driver. Am I suppose to be looking for a QTR driver? Much appreciation, Cody Thomas
