Hi all, I finally got around to reading the User Guide written by Tom Moore and decided to go through the exercise of characterizing the ink/paper I use (Epson ink/Red River paper) and I have a question about evaluating the Calibration test page. What exactly am I looking for when I evaluate that page? When I look at the steps on each color with a 15x loop, I'm not sure I can see the difference between one step and the next even though I can see the differences in "darkness" of the steps. Am I looking or remnants of white showing through the ink, or something else? If I look for remnants of white, I get quite a range of levels at which the ink max's out. Most are between 75 and 80%, but the yellow is way down around 35- 40% and the black and blue are closer to 55-65%. Any guidance? thanks, Dave
