QTR-Quadtone RIP

I finally figured out how to make my profiles with my EyeOne NOT using
ProfileMaker, since my version no longer allows the use of the measure
tool in demo mode. (I use EyeOne iShare, which will give luminance
readings for all the various measurement steps.)

My profile for the Moab Entrada Bright White looks good -- visually
speaking and tonally. However, I have a pronounced dithering/dot
pattern in the, roughly, 1/4 tones of a print (as well as the 21-step
TIFF). It's visible to the naked eye, no loupe needed. In printing the
same image using the Cone provided ICC profile for Hahnemuehle Photo
Rag, printed directly from Photoshop, the dots are invisible, the
dithering, non-existent.

Has anyone figured out a way to deal with this or use a better dither
pattern than the default? Since inkjetamll is no longer providing
profiles (except at exorbitant rates) and is relying upon the user to
come up with his/her own profiles via QTR, I'd love to get this sorted
out. Thanks for the help.

P.S. - My printer is the Epson 7000, loaded with the recent  Selenium
Quadtone inkset (not the NK6) in a WinXP environment.
