QTR-Quadtone RIP

Has anyone tried to create UT7 profiles for QTR that work on glossy
papers with Eboni black? Is this even possible? That is can you turn
off the black eboni position and produce good blacks by mixing the
other grey inks together?

I have just loaded this inkset into my 2100 and get good results using
matte papers, but want to use glossy papers without having to replace
the black ink every time. I tried the Roark curves and they don't seem
to work very well on Ilford smooth pearl or Epson photo glossy.
