I have been using the Generations Quad (GQ) inks by MediaStreet for a few months now and have been pretty happy with them. I have posted a review on my web site for those that are interested. You can find it here: http://www.barclay-hurst.com/Monochrome/GQreview.htm I have included some other stuff about monochrome printing so check it out. I don't know if the web site is ready for prime time yet so let me know if you have any comments. The home page for the seb site is here: http://www.barclay-hurst.com/Monochrome/default.htm I have also been working on using a scanner to linearize my profiles and I have been getting very good results. It goes well beyond the help file that is included with QTR. I have invested a lot of hours in it so I would like to recoup some of my costs by selling a tutorial with along with a wide selection of my profiles (.qidf and .quad files). There would be profiles for both the UC and GQ inks with 6 to 8 different papers and would include cool, warm, neutral, sepia and platinum curves. It would probably be about $10 offered as shareware with payment through paypal. I have not done it yet but if there is enough interest then I will put it together so let me know if you would be interested. Please contact me at: BWphoto@...
