Previously, with Photoshop and Canon's image sizing I have been spoiled by the ease of use and the preview capabilities. In adapting to Quadtone RIP I assume all nonstandard sized images must really be cropped with Photoshop's cropping capabilties to have the full screen preview and re-cropping capabilities to use the large screen image editing capabilities before sending to the RIP. The preview capabilities are something I must be missing with the RIP. Too, I see no way to have full screen previewing of what the final image will look like in terms of a finished product with the full grayscale inks. Currently, I am using the Epson R200, the Media Street Generations quad-tone inks, and their recommended satin finished paper. In my initial printing I have not changed any of the default settings, partly because of not being able to find a way to have a preview to actually view the effects. Anyone have any setting suggestions of the various options or other alternatives that I may be missing? Clarence W.
