Right now you can only do one linearization. Roy might correct me on this, but looking at my Quadprofile source code I don't think there would be anything to prevent me from building in a few more iterations. (Quadprofile is only gluing together various components made by Roy so I don't always have a complete overview of how everything works). Linearization is applied after gamma, shadow and highlight.
