QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,

I am trying to print a portrait of a head shot. My goal is to make the 
head shot warm or sepia (possibly somewhere in between). But the 
remaining backround of the image I would like to be closer to a normal 
black.  That is I don't want the background to have hints of sepia or 
warm, but rather I want it to be a cool black.

Can someone put me in the right direction?

Also, is it possible to see a soft proof of this particular combination 
before I print.  I do have the soft proofs provided by Carl Schofield.  
However, my particular situation is quite different.
