Yes, Roy I preload the paper with the sheet feeder
Push the closest button to the power

I use the epson European driver version 2.33
I select Mat Archival, A4 paper size..
then print without problems (with or without paper preload)

I tried to find the US driver on epson website for OS X 10.4.7..there
is nothing (except for Intel Macs).
Wich version of Epson drivers are you using ?
