Hello all, I'm new to this group and this is my first post. I wish to produce quality 13"x19" Color/B&W prints from a 6.3 MPixel camera. Yes I know these are big expectations. :o) I will settle for the best I can achieve until I upgrade to a better camera. In an attempt to further improve the results of my worflow I'm evaluating the potential setup mentioned in the subject line. I'm mostly playing with a Qimage demo(Color workflow) and considering QTRIP (B&W workflow). Until now, I have managed with a calibrated monitor and the following paper types and profiles: - Epson Premium Glossy (Epson Profile) - Epson Premium Semi Gloss (Epson profile) - Ilford Smooth Pearl (Ilford Profile) I am also considering doing more B&W so I will most likely try: - Epson Enhanced Matte Paper (Epson Profile) - Ilford ? - Other suggestions ? I use an Epson 2200 printer and would like to hear from others with similar setups. I was thinking of calibrating everything, then use Qimage and lastly use QTRIP. I have read about scalling up to 720 ppi for Epson printers using Qimage. Has anyone used Qimage to scale up to 720 ppi files intended for QTRIP? Do you guys have comments, suggestions, warnings, complaints to pass along before I proceed to far down the path? Thank you for taking time to read my post, Pierre
