RE: [QuadtoneRIP] Blurry test print from 7600

You may also want to do the more extensive head alignment. This was a common
start up problem for 7000, 9000 users of the early piezotone users. It uses
several yards of paper but will give you a better sense of your deflected
heads than a simple nozzle check. Check your manual for the procedure.

When you look at the detail it sure looks like the LK is not aligned with
the K. Each letter has a LK shadow displaced slightly above the K forming
the detail (letter or line). The printout from the maintenance panel (and
any other non-QTR) source might be sharp simply because it may only use the
K ink. The 2200 QTR curve has grey overlap and therefore uses LK and K to
make 100% black used for the lettering and lines.

Another possibility (I think less likely in this case) is that blurring can
be caused by putting too much ink on the paper (i.e. the Curve is not well
formed). From my experience on a 2200 this would result in spatter and more
general blurring than is the case here.
